The Extraordinary Hero Project
VIRTUAL TOUR 2022
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS
We, The Extraordinary Hero Project, will nurture creative partnerships with established non-profit on-line and traditional theater groups. We, The Extraordinary Hero Project provide the show; The Theater Group provides the audience.
The Show is a live, real-time performance of Extraordinary Hero delivered on-line using the Zoom Webinar Platform. The tour involves a minimum of five professionals: three on-camera performers and, "behind-the-scenes," one Stage Diretor and one Tech Director.
Extraordinary Hero is a project of The Peaceful Educator Foundation a
501c3 non-profit. This on-line production is,
in part, intended to function as a fund-raising event for the Foundation and for non-profit partners as well.
(Please inquire regarding non-fundraising options.)
AS A JOINT
Option One: The Theater Group hosts a Zoom
Webinar; sends out invitations and maintains a guest list; sells tickets and/or solicits donations; admits attendees to the “lobby” (Zoom waiting room); and, generally carries on all functions pre-
and post-performance. The host turns over control to The Extraordinary Hero Project Technical Director for the live-performance.
Option Two: The Extraordinary Hero Project hosts the webinar and
manages all functions pre, during,
and post-performance. The Theater Group provides a confidential guest (email) list whom the
project will invite to the show.
Please note: All of the individuals involved in this production are professionals; they do this for a living.
The Extraordinary Hero Project guarantees each of the four pros on the virtual tour a base salary of $200.00 per performance for a total of $1,000.00. Whatever the shared revenue option (below) is selected, the first $1,000.00 raised must be ear-marked for professional compensation after which The On-Line Theater Group may select from the following:
Option I: The Theater Group hosts and manages the Zoom Webinar and receives 2/3 of revenues over $1K;
The Extraordinary Hero Project receives 1/3. The Group is responsible for accounting and will arrange payment of The Project’s share within two weeks of the last performance.

ALTERNATIVE FUNDING OPORTUNITIES
The New England Foundation for the Arts may provide grant support to member non-profits.
The New England States Touring Grant (NEST) funds performances of work by regional, national, and international artists presented by New England-based nonprofit organizations (e.g. The On-Line Theater Group). Grants provide up to 50% of the fees and range from $500 to a maximum of $5,000.00.
The Extraordinary Hero Project Virtual

For individuals with disabilities, attending (accessing) a theatrical performance can
be very challenging or not do-able at all.
We strive to make our production accessible by including closed-captions, audio descriptions, on-line performances, and other techniques.
